Sri Vishaka Sakhi is one of the most intimate companions and followers of Srimati Radharani. She was born on exactly the same day as Radharani and her eternal age is 14 years old. Her complexion is like a lighting bolt and her garments are decorated magnificiently with stars. She sings very melodiously and she plays the mrdanga very expertly. Because she has the same mood as Sri Radha and can understand perfectly what is in Radha’s heart, she perfectly carries messages between Radha and Krishna, and is therefore known as the most expert gopi messenger. By worshiping her one can receive her mercy to serve the divine couple Sri Radha-Krishna
