Hanuman
Hanuman is the incredibly strong, invincible son of the Wind-god. He is the eternal servitor of Lord Ramachandra and is the perfect symbol of Dasyam, the perfect servant of our sweet Lord Krishna who came in the form of Sri Rama. He always remains engaged in the Lords service no matter what that is his priority and life. Furthermore he is the ideal character for which he is worshiped by all devotees. Pavana dev comes as Hanuman to serve his Istadev(worshipable deity) Lord Rama, as Bhima to serve Krishna, as Madvacharya to serve Vyasa-dev. Hanumanji also came as Murari-Gupta in Kali-yuga to serve Lord Caitaniya. Hanuman is one of the 7 or 8 personalities who stay in this world until the end of Kali-yuga to protect Rama-Bhakta’s, the devotees who worship Rama. Hanuman is such a great devotee that the moment he met Rama he immediately started offered his service. His devotion to Rama is so vast and great that on one can stop him from serving Rama. Once Hanuman was so busy in the palace because he had taken away everyones serrvice, he was seriving everyone for the pleasure of rama. Seeing this Mother Sita and Laxman decided that they should let hanuman rest for a while and they should do all his service. Realizing that all his services were taken away he began snapping. In the vedas it says that when a person yawns it is inauspicious so to invoke auspicious one should snap his fingers. Everytime Lord Rama would yawn and was about to fall asleep hanuman would snap his fingers and lord Rama would wake up. So Rama could not fall asleep. As a result Guru Vashista asked Sita and Laxman to give back Hanuman his seva so that Rama could rest. Because hanuman enjoys serving his master he
cannot live a moment without engaging himself in Rama service. If a person desires to be eternally happy they must be engaged in eternal service under the guidance of the Lords associates. Hanuman is always making arrangements for others to come and serve the Lord just as shown when they were building the bridge. -

Aristasura
12 inches tall
$15.00"Once a demon named Aristasura entered the village like a great bull with a gigantic body and horns, digging up the earth with his hooves. When the demon entered Vrndavana, it appeared that the whole land trembled, as if there were an earthquake. He roared fiercely, and after digging up the earth on the riverside, he entered the village proper. The fearful roaring of the bull was so piercing that some of the pregnant cows and women had miscarriages. Its body was so big, stout and strong that a cloud hovered over its body just as clouds hover over mountains. Aristasura entered Vrndavana with such a fearful appearance that just on seeing this great demon, all the men and women were afflicted with great fear, and the cows and other animals fled the village.
The situation became very terrible, and all the inhabitants of Vrndavana began to cry, "Krsna! Krsna, please save us!" Krsna also saw that the cows were running away, and He immediately replied, "Don't be afraid. Don't be afraid." He then appeared before Aristasura and said, "You are the lowest of living entities! Why are you frightening the inhabitants of Gokula? What will you gain by this action? If you have come to challenge My authority, then I am prepared to fight you." In this way, Krsna challenged the demon, and the demon became very angry by the words of Krsna. Krsna stood before the bull, resting His hand on the shoulder of a friend. The bull began to proceeded towards Krsna in anger. Digging the earth with his hooves, Aristasura lifted his tail, and it appeared that clouds were hovering about the tail. His eyes were reddish and moving in anger. Pointing his horns at Krsna, he began to charge Him, just like the thunderbolt of Indra. But Krsna immediately caught his horns and tossed him away, just as a gigantic elephant repels a small inimical elephant. Although the demon appeared to be very tired and although he was perspiring, he took courage and got up. Again he charged Krsna with great force and anger. While rushing towards Krsna, he breathed very heavily. Krsna again caught his horns and immediately threw him on the ground, breaking his horns. Krsna then began to kick his body, just as one squeezes a wet cloth on the ground. Being thus kicked by Krsna, Aristasura rolled over and began to move his legs violently. Bleeding and passing stool and urine, his eyes starting from their sockets, he passed to the kingdom of death.

Prahlada Maharaja
6 inches tall
$15.00
Prahlada Maharaja"The history of Prahlada Maharaja, the great devotee of Nrsimhadeva, is narrated in the Seventh Canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam. Prahlada Maharaja, a small child of only five years, became the object of envy for his great father, Hiranyakasipu, only because of his becoming a pure devotee of the Lord. The demon father employed all his weapons to kill the devotee son, Prahlada, but by the grace of the Lord he was saved from all sorts of dangerous actions by his father. He was thrown in a fire, in boiling oil, from the top of a hill, underneath the legs of an elephant, and he was administered poison. At last the father himself took up a chopper to kill his son, and thus Nrsimhadeva appeared and killed the heinous father in the presence of the son. Thus no one can kill the devotee of the Lord. "

Sri Lalita
Sri Lalita is one of the eight principle sakhis (intimate girlfriends of Radha). Lalita is twenty seven days older than Radharani and her beautiful face mocks the brilliance of the full moon. She is charmingly endowed with many grand qualities and is always immersed in the ocean of love. She is very beautiful and sweet, and at the same timevery sober and composed. Her heart is so sweet that she attracts the hearts of all others, and she is also “pragalbha”, which means she can speak harsh words that enhance and enable Sri Radha and Krishna’s pastimes
by controlling them both.
Sri Lalita has natural expertise in all arts, thus she is able to serve the divine couple Sri Radha-Krishna and she is the first attendant. Her specific quality is that she is very expert in applying make-up, and especially in arranging the hair decoration of Srimati Radhika. Although all the eight principle sakhis are very famous for putting on the bodily decorations and applying the make-up of Srimati Radhika, Lalita and Visakha are the most expert. Moreover, of these two, Lalita is considered the most proficient. While applying kajal, black eyeliner, Lalita and others remind Srimati Radhika of Her previous pastimes with Sri Krsna. For example, one time Sri Radha was going out to meet Sri Krishna and she forgot to put kajal on one of Her eyes. Upon Her arrival Sri Krishna himself applied the kajal on her other eye. Such pastimes are brought to the attention of Srimati Radhika at the time of putting on Her make-up, and in such a way Her mood of bringing pleasure to Krsna is enhanced.
The mood of Lalita is that she is always favorable towards the pastimes of Radha and Krishna. She engages in millions upon millions of endeavors to please Them, and to serve the droplets of Their activities. When Radha and Krishna meet and engage in amorous pastimes, Lalita wipes away the droplets of perspiration on Their lotus feet.
This means that she is engaged day and night in the service of Their sweet pastimes and is perpetually immersed in her undivided absorption in fulfilling the heart's desire of her intimate friend Srimati Radhika by enhancing their mellows by all means. -

Banyan Tree Fairy
ONCE upon a time a Merchant, who was walking along the road, came upon an iron cage in which a great Tiger had been shut up by the villagers who caught him.
As the Merchant passed by, the Tiger called out and said to him, "Brother, have pity on me, and let me out of this cage for one minute only, to drink a little water, for I am dying of thirst."
The Merchant answered, "No, I will not. Do you think I'm crazy? If I let you out of the cage you will eat me."
"Oh, please," answered the Tiger, "in truth I will not. I would never be so ungrateful. Just let me out, please, that I may drink some water and return."
Then the Merchant took pity on him and opened the cage door. No sooner had he done so than the Tiger, jumping out, said, "Now, I will eat you first, and rinse down the meal with a drink of water afterwards."
The Merchant cried, "How could you be so ungrateful? I was the one who opened the cage door!"
"You knew I was a tiger," said the Tiger. "What do you expect? You are a fool and deserve to die."
"Only do not kill me so quickly," said the Merchant. "Let us first ask the opinion of six, and if all of them say it is just and fair that you should put me to death, then I am willing to die."
"Very well," answered the Tiger, "it shall be as you say; we will first ask the opinion of six."
So the Merchant and the Tiger walked on till they came to a banyan tree. The Merchant said to it, "Banyan tree, Banyan tree, hear and give judgment."
"On what must I give judgement?" asked the Banyan tree.
"This tiger," said the Merchant, "begged me to let him out of his cage to drink a little water, and he promised not to hurt me if I did so, but now that I have let him out, he wishes to eat me. Is that fair?"
The Banyan tree answered, "Men often come to take shelter in the cool shade under my branches, from the scorching rays of the sun, but when they have rested, they cut and break my pretty branches, and scatter my leaves about the ground. Let the tiger eat the man, for men are an ungrateful race."
At these words the tiger would have instantly killed the Merchant, but the Merchant said, "Tiger, Tiger, you must not kill me yet, for you promised that we should first hear the judgment of six."
"Very well," said the Tiger, and they went on their way. After a little while they met a camel.
"Sir Camel, Sir Camel," cried the Merchant, "hear and give judgment."
"On what shall I give judgement?" asked the Camel.
And the Merchant related how the Tiger had begged him to open the cage door, and promised not to eat him if he did so; and how he had afterwards determined to break his word, and asked if that was fair? The Camel replied, "When I was young and strong, and could do much work, my master took care of me and gave me good food; but now that I am old, and have lost all my strength in his service, he overloads me and starves me, and beats me without mercy. Let the Tiger eat the man, for men are in unjust and cruel race."
The Tiger would then have killed the Merchant, but the latter said, "Stop, Tiger, for we must first hear the judgement of six."
So they both went again on their way. At a little distance they found a Bullock lying by the roadside. The Merchant said to him, "Brother Bullock, Brother Bullock, hear and give judgment."
"On what must I give judgment?" asked the Bullock.
The Merchant answered, "I found this tiger in a cage, and he begged for me to open the door and let him out to drink a little water, and promised not to kill me if I did so, but when I had let him out he declared he would put me to death. Is it fair he should do so or not?"
The Bullock said, "When I was able to work, my master fed me well and tended me carefully, but now that I am old he has forgotten all I did for him, and left me by the roadside to die. Let the Tiger eat the man, for men have no pity."
Three out of the six had given judgment against the Merchant, but still he did not lose all hope, and determined to ask the other three.
They next met an Eagle flying through the air, to whom the Merchant cried, "O Eagle, great Eagle, hear and give judgment."
"On what must I give judgment?" asked the Eagle. The Merchant stated the case, but the Eagle answered, "Whenever men see me they try to shoot me; they climb the rocks to my nest and steal my eggs. Let the Tiger eat the man, for men are the persecutors of the earth."
The Merchant stated the case, but the Eagle answered, "Whenever men see me they try to shoot me; they climb the rocks and steal away my little ones. Let the Tiger eat the man, for men are the persecutors of the earth."
Then the Tiger began to roar, and said, "The judgment of all is against you, O Brahmin!" But the Merchant answered, "It's not over yet! Stay yet a little longer, for two others must first be asked." After this they saw an Alligator, and the Merchant related the matter to him, hoping for a more favorable verdict. But the Alligator said, "Whenever I put my nose out the water, men torment me and try to kill me. Let the Tiger eat the man, for as long as men live we shall have no rest." -

Himalayan Rock Fairy
Sometimes it was believed the fairies had enchanted certain rocks. One rock had been enchanted by the fairy queen Áine (or goddess as some believe) and any who sat on it would become insane, also people who were already insane were attracted to it and became even more so.
Also mysterious impressions were made on rocks these were blamed on fairy curses, one such was Clough na Cuddy or Cuddy's Rock, believed to hold the impression of the knees of a monk who mysteriously travelled from his own century to the next century.
